Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MockaJunkie collects, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account data: your email and a hashed (never plain-text) password.
• Page data: the name, bio, photo, links and settings you choose to publish.
• Supporter data: the name, email and message a supporter types at checkout, and the amount paid. A supporter can hide their name from the public feed.
• Technical data: a session cookie to keep you logged in, cookies that remember your language and theme, and a one-way hash of your IP address and browser used for abuse protection and privacy-friendly visit counts (the hash changes daily and cannot be reversed to your IP).

We do not store card numbers; the payment processor handles them.

How we use it

To run your account and page, process payments, show analytics to creators, answer your messages, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Who sees it

• Creators see the details supporters give them, such as name, email and message.
• The payment processor receives what it needs to take payment.
• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when you open a page.
• We do not sell personal information and we do not email supporters on a creator's behalf.

Your choices

You can export your supporter list, edit your page and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information, and, where the law gives you the right, to object to or restrict its use, by writing to superdeeid+mochajunkie@gmail.com. Residents of Québec may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information if they have a concern.

Retention

We keep account data while the account exists. Deleting an account removes its page, tiers, supporters and payment records from our database; limited records may stay in backups for a short period or where the law requires.

Security

See the Security page. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
